"Imagination is more important than knowledge."
― Albert Einstein
Knowledge is your current state, it's what you know and can use right now.
But if you want to go further, to expand your mind and improve your life, then you need imagination.
Imagination broadens your horizon and makes the impossible possible.
"How can you hide from what never goes away?"
You must learn to live with and love the one thing that you can never run away from: yourself.
If you can do that, then you will know peace.
"For to fear death, my friends, is only to think ourselves wise without really being wise, for it is to think that we know what we do not know. For no one knows whether death may not be the greatest good that can happen to man. And is not this the most reprehensible form of ignorance, that of thinking one knows what one does not know?"
Socrates offers the most logical explanation for why the fear of unknown things is irrational and not wise.
No one knows if death will be good or bad. In the same way, you don't know whether a relationship breakup, change in jobs, or any shift in your life will be good or bad. There’s a chance that it could end up being the greatest thing ever.
There is no need to fear death or anything that is unknown. You'll find out what it is soon enough and handle it just as you have handled other changes in the past.
